Rum with a Twist

Journal

Rum has been a maritime staple for many a moon, with daily naval rum rations starting in 1731 and only really drawing to an official close on Black Tot Day, July 31st, 1970. Of course, sailors weren’t exactly sipping on Diplomatico on the rocks back in the day; quality was known to be pretty sketchy at the best of times, necessitating mixing into grog and precursors to what we now know as flavoured rum.
